Call for Workshop Proposals

JIST 2018 cordially invites you to submit workshop proposals to be held in conjunction with the conference. The purpose of a workshop is to provide an opportunity for participants for in-depth discussion of current and emerging topics of the semantic technologies. Ideally a workshop should foster interactions between different communities within the scope of JIST.
The organizer of an accepted workshop will be responsible for the reviewing process, call for papers, publicity website, and proceeding publication of the workshop.

Workshop proposal should include the following information

  1. Title and short description of the workshop.
  2. A list of organizers for the workshop with their brief Bio(s).
  3. Your preference regarding the length of the workshop: 2 or 4 hours.

  • Submission due: 23:59 (Hawaii Time) 5 September, 2018
  • Acceptance Notification: 7 September, 2018
  • Announcement of Call for Paper for Accepted Workshops: 10 September, 2018

Recommended Schedule for workshops

  • Paper submission due: 23:59 (Hawaii Time) 25 September, 2018
  • Notification of Acceptance: 12 October, 2018
  • Camera-ready Deadline: 19 October, 2018
  • Workshop day:: 26 or 28 November, 2018
